In a report to PDEA Director-General Wilkins Villanueva, agents of the PDEA-NCR Quezon City District Office identified the suspect as John Lennon Tadena, 23, of San Isidro, Antipolo City.

Tadena was nabbed in front of a convenience store along NHA Avenue, Barangay San Isidro at around 9 p.m. during the joint operation.

Aside from the one kilogram of shabu, the anti-narcotics agents also confiscated from Tadena three sachets of marijuana leaves and three small sachets of shabu.

The operation was carried out after months of surveillance as Tadena has been the subject of numerous complaints from his neighbors.

Tadena is now facing charges for violation of Sec. 5 and Section 11 of RA 9165.
